The Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi co-hosts the Chinese Theater Festival

On November 28, 2022, the "Chinese Culture Day - Meet Chinese Drama" jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, the Kenya Cultural Center, and the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi was held at the Kenya National Theater at 17:00 local time. Counselor Zhou Meifen and Counselor Tang Jianjun of the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, Mr. Micheal Pundo, CEO of the Kenya Cultural Center, Mr. Fed Oyagi, Director of the Kenya International Theater Festival, and professors and teachers from the Department of Humanities, University of Nairobi, were invited to attend the festival. More than a hundred spectators watched and experienced. Before the official start of the event, the Confucius Institute at Inner University carefully prepared Chinese costumes matching the theme of the event for the audience to try on, and at the same time prepared facial makeup and other activities.
