On the afternoon of November 18th, local time in Kenya, Mr. Tan Yue, President of China Publishing Group, led a delegation of China Publishing Group for a visit to the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi. Members of the delegation included Mr. Chen Qi, President of Modern Education Press, Mr. Liu Zhong, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of China Publishing and Media Holdings Co.Ltd, Mr. Chen Xiaowen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of The Commercial Press, and Mr. Chang Shaomin, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SDX Joint Publishing Company, and Ms.

On 4th November afternoon, local time in Kenya, the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi played the host to Nanjing Cultural Exchange Delegation that visited the Confucius Institute. The Delegation held the Nanjing City Wall Pictures and Cultural Products Exhibition, the Maritime Silk Road Lecture, and the Nanjing City Tourism Promotion among other series of activities to the faculty and students of the Confucius Institute.

The Chinese choir of the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi is a traditional brand project of the  Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi . On July 14, at the invitation of the Central Conservatory of Music, a Kenyan tutor and five outstanding members of the Confucius Institute choir have departed to Beijing for an International Summer seminar on Chinese music culture.
